What is MCB?

What use you can do for our MCB or RCBO low voltage circuit breakers? What is the difference between MCBs and RCBOs? When you are trying to google these two models, you probably have this question in your mind. Well, the answer is surprisingly simple!

MCB
Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB)

MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker) is like a fuse you use for electrical protection at home. When there is any unexpected accident such as overload or short-circuit, a fuse may be burnt out to break the damage. In order to fix the damage, you may have to wait for an electrician to replace the brunt fuse with a new one. This kind of situation may happen again and again. The process could be long and tedious.

However, with MCBs, this kind of issue could be solved right away. Unlike a fuse, a MCB can be reset immediately after the overload or short-circuit is detected. So next time, you don't need to call an electrician, just simply trip the MCB back to ON stage. The protection is well equipped again!
